Appearing on CD:

Callie Bartos : Lead vocals, Rhythm Guitar | Callie began writing

and performing at a young age and got her start in Pittsburgh with

various rock bands in the tri-state area. She then enjoyed success

with Atlanta-based bands including country duo "Mason & Bartos"

and Acoustic Pop trio "Stirling". Always the songwriter, she has been

honing her craft with guidance from Nashville and Atlanta pro-

fessionals. Bartos studied guitar under Atlanta-based Ed Wier and

Mike Cady, and has received vocal coaching from Melissa Ellen of

Jan Smith Studios. She is excited to be a part of Noonday Blue and

to work with this very proficient and creative group of musicians.

Callie writes with influences from folk, blues, rock and country -

and blends her vocals and guitar into the sound that is Noonday

Blue - a great acoustic rockin' band! Callie lends her support to

Mostly Mutts, a local animal rescue and adoption group.

Clark Ramirez: Lead Guitar & Vocals | Clark began playing guitar

in the late 1960s and continues to play various renditions of classic

rock and blues tunes today. In the Atlanta area during the 1980s,

Clark played with Rebel Rock, a southern boogie group before joining

Mason & Bartos in 1996, providing instrumental backing on original

and cover tunes. In the ensuing years up to the present, Clark

continued to perform with Callie in a successful acoustic duet

before joining NB.

Michele Kersey: More Vocals |Michele played fiddle as an urchin

and performed her first original song in fifth grade on Arbor Day

when trees were still underrated. She learned to sing in 5-part

harmony from family road trips scored by 8-track tapes of John

Denver, The Kingston Trio, Peter Paul & Mary, and The New Christy

Minstrels. A poet and chorus geek from birth, she revels in minor

alto harmonies, derivative interpretations, and acoustic music of all

kinds. After many years of wedding, funeral and guest performances,

she joins NB as a singer aspiring to musicianship. You can also find

her as a volunteer at Atlanta’s new Georgia Aquarium.

Will Max: Bass Guitar & Vocals | Will first picked up the guitar in

Malaga, Spain, where he could almost hear the latest hits from

England by holding a transistor radio against the bathroom pipes.

After High School in St. Paul MN, he played in several basement

bands influenced by the Stones, Hendrix and Cream. During a four-

year hiatus from college, he moved to Denver CO and played in a

house band at a track-side bar full of mirrors. Will eventually

recovered from that and relocated to Kennesaw GA to focus on

career and family until serendipity brought him in touch with NB.

He is thrilled to be part of this fine group of musicians.

Don Olsen: Percussion and Faux Vocals | Don has played those

drums for longer than you really need to know.

Now active in the Woodstock, GA scene with

Eye Scream Headache

and

Noonday Blue
